Dravidar Kazhagam was born to safe guard Periar.Tamil Speech S.V.Ramani.

Dravidar Kazhagam was born to safe guard Periar.Tamil Speech S.V.Ramani.

During December 17, 1939, Periyar EVR raised the slogan "Dravida Nadu for Dravidians", changing the earlier slogan "Tamil Nadu for Tamils". It is at the Justice Party State Conference in Thiruvarur on August 24, 1940 that Tamil Nadu Independence Movement morphed into Dravida Nadu Independence Movement. Since Periar E.V.R. belongs to Kannada Naicker community and all other justice party leaders belongs to Telugu community.. At that time both Periyar E. V. Ramaswamy and C. N Annadurai were Justice Party members.

The Justice Party’s provincial conference held in Salem on 27th August 1944 marked a turning point in Periyar’s movement. The name of the Party was changed as Dravidar Kazhagam. The members were asked to give up the posts, positions and titles conferred by the British rulers. They were also required to drop the caste suffix of their names. It was also decided that the members of the movement should not contest the elections. In other words, the Justice Party, which was political, was transformed into Dravidar Kazhagam and became a non-political socio-cultural movement. It remains so even today.

Thus what started initially as Tamil Nadu independence took a turn to Dravida Nadu independence and then took a turn back to Tamil Nadu independence because there was very little, if any, support in Andhra Pradesh (Telugu), Karnataka (Kannada) and Kerala (Malayalam).

Comedy Actor S.V.Sekar and Kalaignar Karunanidhi.Tamil Speech S.V.Ramani.

Comedy Actor S.V.Sekar and Kalaignar Karunanidhi.Tamil Speech S.V.Ramani.
S.V.Sekar Founder of Federation of Brahmins Association [FEBAS] and Mylapore M.L.A. was a well-known Comedy Actor. He was a devotee of Kanchi Sri Jayendra Saraswathi and during Sri Jayendra Saraswathi’s arrest by A.I.A.D.M.K. Government, he met A.I.A.D.M.K. leader Jayalalitha and joined with her party. Now he is showing his faith with D.M.K. Party and with its leader Karunanidhi.
Now recently in a interview, he praised Karunanidhi telling who ever want to see him can stand in front of the Lord Krishna Temple in front of his house and if they wish the Chief Minister, Chief Minister will immediately respond to them. However, we do not know that whether Suresh a physically handicapped boy aged 25 years went to Chief Minister’s house after reading S.V.Sekar interview in Tamizhan Express Magazine. Anyhow, we are giving the story of Suresh as published in Times of India issue dated 22-1-2010.
Chennai: A 25-year-old handicapped man committed suicide near chief minister M Karunanidhi’s Gopalapuram residence by consuming poison on Friday. The man had come to meet the chief minister, but failed to get an audience.
M Suresh, a resident of Odiyathur near Salem and son of a local DMK leader called Mavood, has been staying with his uncle Ayyasamy in Velachery. Suresh has been desperately trying for a job after he dropped out of class 11, but he was turned away by many companies because of his disability. Finally, he decided to meet the chief minister and plead for a job. However, he appeared to have made up his mind on what to do in case he failed to get an audience, as he went to Gopalapuram with a poison bottle. The police personnel posted in front of the chief minister’s house refused to let him in. They asked him to approach the chief minister’s office at the secretariat. Suresh stayed back on the platform for more than half-anhour and was chased away by the policemen on duty.
He bought a soft drink from a nearby shop, mixed the poison he was carrying and drank it. Minutes later, he collapsed by the roadside on Conran Smith Salai, about 400 metres from the chief minister’s house. On information, Royapettah police rushed him to Government Royapettah Hospital. He died an hour later, not responding to treatment. Mavood, a daily wage labourer who came rushing from Salem, burst into tears on seeing his son’s body kept in the morgue on Friday evening. Mavood said, “My son was confident that he would to get a job in Chennai. He was afflicted with polio which left his right leg crippled.” Suresh is survived by his wife Vasuki. Royapettah police have registered a case under Section 174 of CrPC and further investigations are on.
It is our earnest request that S.V. Sekar should not talk everything in a comedy way that may bring danger to the life of innocent people. Anyhow, we appreciate S.V.Sekar for helping the economically weaker section people in Brahmin community and taking action in getting them seven percent reservation in job and education.

Karunanidhi must name the New Assembly building in the name of Kamaraj or Dr. Subbarayan.Tamil Speech S.V.Ramani.

Karunanidhi must name the New Assembly building in the name of Kamaraj or Dr. Subbarayan.Tamil Speech S.V.Ramani.

Chief Minister and DMK president M Karunanidhi on Friday
[22-1-2010] came down heavily on those promoting casteism. Participating in a marriage function, he hauled up one of his senior ministers, KN Nehru, for ‘flaunting’ his caste identity. Nehru had apparently proudly mentioned his caste at the gathering, pointing out that there were many participants in the function hailing from the same caste. “I cannot look at people based on their caste or creed. For me everyone is a Tamil and that feeling should bind us all,” he said.

Recalling the contribution of Congress leaders K Kamaraj and Omandur Ramasamy Reddiyar, who is the first chief minister of the state after Independence, Karunanidhi said though they belonged to the Congress they had believed in ideals of social justice that were propagated by Dravidian movement.

We hereby brought to the information of our beloved Chief Minister that Dr. Subbarayan was the first Tamilian chief Minister of Tamil Nadu during 1926 even before Independence. Moreover, Perunthalaivar Kamaraj has done a lot to the downtrodden people in giving them free education. During Rajaji Ministry, Rajaji implemented strict laws for the removal of caste systems and he has appointed one Minister by name Munusamy belonging to the caste of Sanitary worker.

During the Godfather’s of D.M.K. Justice party rule in Tamil Nadu all the Ministers have added their caste name along with their names. They have not done anything to the downtrodden people. They have not included their well-educated M.L.A. pattiveeranpatti Soundarapanian in their Ministry, because he belongs to Backward class.

It is the wishes of all Tamil Nadu people that Kalaignar Karunanidhi to name the New Assembly building in the name of Kamaraj or Dr.Subbarayan.

Kushboo Interview regarding Sex Survey with “India Today”. Tamil Speech by S.V.Ramani.

Kushboo Interview regarding Sex Survey with “India Today”. Tamil Speech by S.V.Ramani.

A four-year-old statement of south Indian film actress Kushboo on pre-marital sex and virginity came under adverse light in the Supreme Court, which on Tuesday[19-1-2010] questioned her on the necessity for such an “extensive wise comment”.

Sep 28 2005 India Today*

Kushboo : “…..Now women in Chennai are also crossing these mental taboos on sexual matters. We get to see a lot of women (girls? ) in Pubs and discos (at Chennai). (These days) Women can talk freely on matters regarding sex. Slowly the woman is opening her wings and has started flying out in this restricted society. Still, accidents to women like Stephany raises some questions about how healthy this trend is?. Sex education is very essential in schools. Even if sex education is not provided in schools, parents have to teach their children about sex…..”

Kushboo : “…For me sex is not just a physical thing. It is mental too. I can’t understand how women can change their boy friends every week…”

Kushboo : “….If a girl is going strong with her boyfriend, she can go out with him after informing her parents…”

Kushboo : “…If a girl has a Strong relationship, the parents have to allow that….”

Kushboo : “…Our society has to be liberated from thoughts like “a woman has to be a virgin at the time of marriage”. No educated man would expect his wife to be a virgin. However, women have to safeguard themselves from pregnancy or other disease, while having pre – marital sex…..”

Kushboo : “…I married the man I was in love with. Since we were sure about our relationships, we had sex before marriage. Its now six years since marriage. Since we have two children, our responsibilities have grown. Since the children sleep in the same room as we do we need to find other private times (/moments) for us. Still we have a happy married life. Married people should know how to satisfy their spouse’s physical needs. There would be no problems, if desires are understood mutually. …”

Kushboo : “…Some increase gratification by using sex books, photos etc. One cannot say that is wrong. At the same time At the same time, one should understand the other’s likes, dislikes and comforts, discomforts. Men who mistake women talking about sex should change their views. Mutual consent is essential for sex. …”

In Tamil Nadu , we are portraying ladies as equivalent to Goddess. They must be truthful to their husband in everything. They have to bring up their children with good morals and conduct. Both husband and wife must have perfect and clean habits in their personal life even before marriage. That is the Tamil culture and Indian Culture.

Tamil Nadu is not the ancestral property of D.M.K. or any other party.

Tamil Nadu is not the ancestral property of D.M.K. or any other party.Tamil Speech by S.V.Ramani.

Kalaignar Karunanidhi told at the Marriage function of former DMK M.P. Dharmalingam son’s marriage at Thiruvannamalai that no-body could destroy or cause to fall down D.M.K. He also told several martyrs brought D.M.K.. He also advised that destroyers not to show their knife but to show their intelligence.

We appreciate Kalaignar advice and we also want to tell that Party like Congress which had fought for our Indian Independence, by scarifying lakh’s of Martyrs is having more right to rule in Tamil Nadu than any other party.

Pongaloo…Pongal…! எஸ்.வி. ரமணியின் "பொங்கல் நல்வாழ்த்துக்கள். "

Pongal is one of the most popular harvest festivals of South India, mainly Tamil Nadu. Pongal falls in the mid-January every year and marks the auspicious beginning of Uttarayan - sun's journey northwards. Pongal festival lasts for four days. Celebrations include drawing of Kolam, swinging & cooking of delicious Pongal.

The festival is celebrated for four days. On, the first day, Bhogi, the old clothes and materials are thrown away and fired, marking the beginning of a new life. The second day, the Pongal day, is celebrated by boiling fresh milk early in the morning and allowing it to boil over the vessel - a tradition that is the literal translation for Pongal. People also prepare savories and sweets, visit each other's homes, and exchange greetings. The third day, Mattu Pongal, is meant to offer thanks to the cows and buffaloes, as they are used to plough the lands. On the last day, Kanum Pongal,People go out to picnic. A festival called Jalli kathu is held in Madurai, Tiruchirapalli and Tanjavur, all in Tamil Nadu, on this day. Bundles of money are tied to the horns of Pongal ferocious bulls which the villagers try to retrieve. Everyone joins in the community meal, at which the food is made of the freshly harvested grainThus, the harvest festival of Pongal symbolizes the veneration of the first fruit. The crop is harvested only after a certain time of the year, and cutting the crop before that time is strictly prohibited. Even though Pongal was originally a festival for the farming community, today it is celebrated by all. In south India, all three days of Pongal are considered important.

We wish all our people throughout the world to attain prosperous

Money will not substitute Sub-Inspector Vetrivel precious life.

Money will not substitute Sub-Inspector Vetrivel precious life.

Tamil Speech by S.V.Ramani.

The brutal murder of a sub-inspector of police in Tirunelveli district of southern Tamil Nadu on Thursday was shocking, here is something that would shock one even more. Top officials and ministers were present at the spot where the inspector lay writhing due to injuries caused by an explosion from a crude bomb and sickles, but it took 20-30 minutes before he could be shifted to a vehicle. By then it was too late. Sub-inspector Vetrivel, father of two, was brought dead to the Tirunelveli Medical College Hospital.

State health minister MRK Panneerselvam, health secretary VK Subburaj, director of public health S Elango, environment minister TPM Mohideen Khan and Tirunelveli collector M Jayaraman reached the spot in a convoy, minutes after the SI was brutally attacked by a seven-member gang. Television footage aired on Friday showed chilling visuals of the SI writhing and groaning in pain on the road while officials and ministers stood around, apparently waiting for an ambulance.

Vetrivel was even seen sitting up, but the footage was blurred to avoid showing the badly wounded lower part of his body. Panneerselvam and other officials, meanwhile, were busy talking over mobile phones, possibly trying to get an ambulance. None seemed to have had the presence of mind to shift the wounded policeman to hospital in one of several vehicles standing by. The scene was captured by a local videographer engaged to cover the ministers’ visit.

The people were standing idle as if they were waiting for someone to come - may be God. If the vehicles and people standing there could not help the SI, it was most unfortunate thing. Will they expect the same treatment when one of them lies on the road bleeding and fighting for his life which would last for few minutes? Everyone at the spot must ask himself. We could see police officers too waiting - were they waiting for the orders from the political class?

This shows the deterioration of values and the love for other human beings. EVEN CRORES OF MONEY WAS GIVEN TO THE FAMILY MEMBERS OF Vetrivel, whether the money will bring a beloved son to his father and a faithful husband to his wife and a well wisher to his son?.

Time to reevaluate our next generation should be with mankind with every human being.

Kalaignar and Puratchiththalaivi must respect people’s mandate. Tamil Speech by S.V.Ramani.

Kalaignar and Puratchiththalaivi must respect people’s mandate. Tamil Speech by S.V.Ramani.

On May 13, 2006 Aiadmk general secretary J Jayalalithaa said she would attend the Tamil Nadu Assembly “only if the need arose”. The AIADMK leader, who won from the Andipatti constituency, said she had been “advised” against attending the House.

“A barbaric gang would lie in wait to pounce on me, just like they manhandled me in 1989,” she said, apparently referring to the DMK. “Nobody can forget how I was attacked and humiliated in the Assembly on March 25, 1989. Some of those who humiliated me that day will be back again as Ministers. My party men don't want me to attend the House because of this barbaric gang,” she said, adding that she would attend only if necessary.

Former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha was arrested and sent to prison on Dec. 7,2006 charged with misappropriating government funds in a deal during her official tenure by Karunanidhi Government.

Former Chief Minister of Tamilnadu, Thiru M Karunanidhi was arrested at the Oliver Road residence of his second wife during the early hours of Saturday, 30.6.2001 on charges of corruption by Jayalalitha Government.

Like Jayalalitha, Karunanidhi was also not participated in the Assembly proceedings and went away duly signing the Register during Jayalalitha Government.

Is it proper for both the leaders to avoid the Assembly Proceedings for their personal grievances? If all other elected MLA’s wants to avoid the assembly session on their leaders footstep, which will safe guard the peoples welfare

Let the political leaders must forget their personal vengeance on each other and they have to come forward to respect peoples mandate and to work for them.

Haryana Police Chief Rathore and 14 years Girl Ruchika’s molestation case.

Haryana Police Chief Rathore and 14 years Girl Ruchika’s molestation case.
Tamil Speech By S.V.Ramani.

The mockery of justice in the Ruchika case, spare a thought for its premier investigating agency. When it files an appeal against the six-month sentence handed down to former Haryana police chief S P S Rathore, the CBI can dare not suggest what is on everybody’s lips: that the trial court should have convicted him not just for molestation (which carries a maximum penalty of two years) but also for the more serious offence of abetment of suicide (which carries a maximum penalty of 10 years).

Thanks to the public outrage over the trial court verdict of December 21, CBI is all set to reverse its stand on whether Rathore, who at 67 is a pale shadow of his former influential avatar, should be prosecuted for abetment of suicide. Since the outrage is focused on Rathore’s culpability, CBI has been lucky to escape questions about its own complicity in shielding him.

Just how blatant was its complicity is evident from the nature of evidence that was available with CBI before it filed the chargesheet in November 2000. Though there was a three-year gap between Ruchika’s molestation and her suicide, the connection between the two was obvious from the manner in which Haryana policemen, acting as Rathore’s goons, had stepped up the harassment of her brother Ashu just before she took the extreme step of consuming poison.

Ashu was picked up by the police on October 23, 1993 in connection with the car theft cases foisted on him. He was still in detention when Ruchika swallowed poison two months later, unable to cope with the way her family was being tormented. By suppressing such a direct link between the harassment and her death, CBI seems to have adopted Rathore’s line while opposing Madhu Prakash’s plea before the trial court for adding the charge of abetment of suicide.

Mercifully, CBI is unlikely to claim any such difficulty in recording Ashu’s testimony now. But the issues thrown up by the Ruchika case go beyond the imperative of trying Rathore for the myriad offences he committed to cover up his crime of molestation. What is equally important is to hold to account all those authorities who shielded him and to make the system more responsive and impartial.

After the trial court framed the abetment of suicide charge despite CBI’s opposition, how could the Punjab and Haryana High Court and Supreme Court set aside that decision? Besides, how could the apex court uphold Rathore’s petition challenging the HC-ordered probe into Ashu’s complaint of being framed in theft cases?

But, are our rulers shamed enough by the Ruchika scandal to loosen their much-abused hold over the police? The law should not leave any culprits even though they are in any high position. Our beloved Prime Minister must take a impartial decision from safe guarding the innocent people from the clutches of Police, Politician’s and Justice.
