The Madras high court has ordered a
vigilance probe into a complaint that former chief minister M Karunanidhi had misappropriated funds meant for the World classicalTamil conference held in Coimbatore in June 2010. Justice R Mala, before whom
the petition filed by advocate B Ramesh Babu came up for hearing on Monday16-9-2013,said an expeditious inquiry should be conducted intothe allegation and that a case should be registered if commission of anycognizable offence was made out.
According to Ramesh Babu, while the
then chief minister Karunanidhi claimed that 380 crore was spent on the conference,a later press release claimed 301 crore had been spent. Information obtained under the RTI Act showed only 151.22 crore had been spent. Another RTI plea
revealed that 262.63 crore was spent on the meet. Ramesh Babu claimed that
Karunanidhi and his associates, including his daughter Kanimozhi, had misappropriated more than 200 crore.
State public prosecutorS Shanmugavelayutham said that an inquiry has begun.
We can get the true pictures only after Vigilance enquiry. Let us wait.

Worship of God must be in calm and peaceful place.
Temples must be in a place where people can go easily and worship God. It must b in a Calm and quite area and while worshipping people must have a pace of mind and not without any disturbance or noise from out side.
Worship is homage consisting of both an attitude of deep respect, adoration, reverence and even awe and the activities designed to describe the position and worth of the One worshipped.
We might consider understanding the worship of God as simple, but doing it is not always easy. It is simple only after we have learned some basic things about it. See the videos where some Temples are constructed.

While a group of Muslim organisations have been opposing the release of Kamal Haasan’s ‘Vishwaroopam’, moderate Muslims in the state have condemned what they termed “pressure politics” by some sections. Though they condemn filmmakers for stereotyping terrorism plots, they have expressed disapproval of protests against films being taken to streets or what they describe as a “non-legal approach”. Some progressive Muslim bloggers have opposed the ban on the film. They have backed Kamal Haasan on social networking sites.
“None of these protesting Muslim organisations represent the majority. The protestors are trying to get mileage with their protests as many of these outfits are struggling to survive,” said well-known Tamil writer Manushyaputhiran. While the state government’s decision to impose a two-week ban on the film was unacceptable, anybody could resort to legal action and move the courts instead of resorting to “a parallel censorship”, he said.
Kamal Haasan’s screening of the film for representatives of some Muslim organisations was not practical, said Manushyaputhiran. “It implies that he sought their permission. He should have avoided the screening since clearance from the censor board was all he needed to release the film,” he said, “If we bow to such pressures, it would prove a hurdle for freedom of expression.”
Indian Union Muslim league general secretary K M Khader Mohideen urged the actor to remove a few scenes if sections felt they tarnished the image of the community. “If anyone has any objection to a film, they can appeal to the censor board or approach the courts,” said Mohideen. Some Muslim leaders urged the government to include members with “cultural and political sensitivity” in the censor board.

When the film producers have spent crores of Rupees on the movie, and when the censor Board has permitted for the release, it is a matter to be considered by staying the orders on the movie Viswaroopam pirated Cd’s may flood state as told by Hamal Hasan. The Government must consider this matter and take appropriate action.

Controversial godman Asaram Bapu has triggered a furore and there have been vociferous protests against him across India. He stated at a recent rally that Nirbhaya was equally to blame for the rape and added, “Mistake is never from one side alone.”
His statement has been slammed and actress Khushbhu says, “His comments are completely baseless. No woman can be blamed for a rape. Nirbhaya is not responsible for the fatal attack as the rape has been forced on her. There is absolutely no mistake from her side. He cannot call himself a Godman after uttering such a harsh comment.”
She further adds, “After making this statement, he had no guts to face the media. He just made this statement for sheer publicity. Nobody knew who he was before this controversy. He says that he has five crore followers. After his comment, I am sure everybody will stop following him. This is just not male chauvinism, this is something beyond that.”
Khushbhu is worried about Nirbhaya’s parents for the moment. She says, “Her parents are facing a huge personal loss. At this time, a comment like this would have hurt them. Any parent would have got hurt. His insensitive remark clearly shows how bad he treats a woman.”
Asaram said that Nirbhaya should have called those rapists as ‘brothers’ and it would have prevented the attack. Khushbu turns furious and says, “In Nirbhaya’s case, she has been brutally attacked. Coward men have shown they are physically stronger than a woman. There is no point in calling those heartless men as brothers. After reading his comment about the girl for whom the whole nation was praying, I came to know that people like Asaram do exist in this world.”

Assam Congress leader arrested for unethical act of raping Bodo woman.
A prominent Congress leader of the state was arrested on Thursday on the charge of allegedly raping a 40-year-old Bodo woman at her home at Salbari in Chirang district in the Bodo Territorial Autonomous Districts (BTAD) area. The accused, Bikramsing Brahma, is alleged to have committed the crime on Wednesday night at the victim’s house. It was only on Thursday morning that the victim’s husband raised an alarm, after which the villagers caught him and beat him up in public before handing him over to police.
Assam Police IG GP Singh, who is in-charge of the BTAD, said, “Bikramsing Brahma has been arrested on the charge of rape.” The victim’s husband filed an FIR, based on which the arrest was made. The husband alleged in the FIR that Brahma was in touch with his family for the last three months and had been promising them contracts for government schemes.
The victim has undergone a medical test and has been taken to her house where security has been provided.
The state unit of the Congress suspended Brahma from the party soon after getting the report.
All party leaders must stand as like a guiding light of Peoples welfare. They must adhere to the Parties code of conduct and principles and shame to their party only and it will be ever erased from the peoples mind. Such party leaders must be stoned in front of public and must be then only they can get good name from the people. Behaving like rowdies mentality with village woman and raping them will bring given the highest punishment by the Government and the Party.
