Washington: A team of scientists, led by a French archaeologist have discovered a bowl in Egypt, dating between the late 2nd century BC and the early 1st century AD, that is engraved with what they believe could be the world’s first known reference to Jesus Christ, reading “by Christ the magician”.


According to a report in Discovery News, if the word “Christ” refers to the Biblical Jesus Christ, as is speculated, then the discovery may provide evidence that Christianity and paganism at times intertwined in the ancient world. The full engraving on the bowl reads, “Dia Chrstou O Goistais”, which has been interpreted by the excavation team to mean either, “by Christ the magician” or, “the magician by Christ”.



“It could very well be a reference to Jesus Christ, in that he was once the primary exponent of white magic,” French marine archaeologist, co-founder of the Oxford Center of Maritime Archaeology, Franck Goddio, said. He and his colleagues found the object during an excavation of the underwater ruins of Alexandria’s ancient great harbor. The site also includes the now submerged island of Antirhodos, where Cleopatra’s palace may have been located. Both Goddio and Egyptologist David Fabre, a member of the European Institute of Submarine Archaeology, think a “magus” could have practiced fortune telling rituals using the bowl. The Book of Matthew refers to “wise men,” or Magi, believed to have been prevalent in the ancient world. ANI




In India there are several Yogis have practiced magic and fortune telling rituals, but they are not being worshipped as God. It is a matter to be decided by the learned people, whether the magician of any community can be worshipped as GOD? In our Opinion that anybody can be called as God for his good deeds to the humanity.

The alleged bribes saw the BJP taking the aggressive path and directing its attack on Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. The timing of the episode couldn’t have been better for the BJP as the text of the PM’s speech—which he did not deliver—showed. The PM had aimed his ammunition at Advani and the BJP. The tactic was similar as when he targeted the Opposition during his Budget intervention.
But if the attempt was to push the BJP under withering fire, the bribe allegations saw BJP saw take the high road. “An immediate investigation is needed. Also, the Speaker, who has placed so many premiums on transparency, should make the tapes available to media. Since the bribery attempt has taken place outside the House, their was no bar on MPs being probed,” Advani added.

UPA people are now very particular in supporting Indo-Us Nuclear deal with America, the disclosure of the text of the IAEA safeguards agreement, it is abundantly clear that, while international inspection and safeguards shall be imposed permanently on our reactors, the exemptions remain doubtful. It is widely known that for all practical purposes no further testing shall be permitted. It is clear that India to be a slave under America.

Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee, who was asked by the CPI-M leadership to quit his post before July 22, and West Bengal Sports Minister Subhas Chakraborty reportedly wrote to Karat saying it would not be correct to vote against the Congress-led government along with the BJP during the July 22 trust vote.

According to the deal, either party can nullify the deal on one year’s notice and in such an event; India will have to return all nuclear reactors and fuel supplied by the US. After investing lakhs of crores in reactors and fuel, this will bring a huge financial burden, which we can hardly bear. As we would have not supplied any reactors or fuel to the US, we will have nothing to recall.

Repeatedly highlighted the "walk out" clause to claim that India can test whenever it wants and even the government has if the US imposes sanctions, we can still negotiate with other countries in the Nuclear Suppliers Group to maintain uninterrupted uranium imports. This is complete hogwash. Can anybody in his right mind believe that the US will patronisingly oversee the supply of fissile material by other countries even after India conducts another nuclear test?

First, we will end up putting huge sums into the coffers of foreign manufacturers of nuclear reactors — mainly French, Russian and American. Second, the estimated cost per unit of nuclear energy will be prohibitively high compared to coal, gas and even crude. Can India afford power at such a high cost when alternative sources have not been exhausted? Without getting into the nuclear sovereignty issue, it can be asserted that the additional energy to be generated through uranium-based reactors will be of dubious benefit.

Not only that while receiving money for welfare measures from the Chief of hermitage [Adheenam ], he can tell them that they should not encourage any worship in the Temple and no schools for cultivating Vedic lessons to be conducted. While B.J.P. was in power he has attained Minister Ship for his relations and party men and at that time how he believed that BJP is not a communal party? How the BJP now become a communal party?

Now for retaining power Congress wants to wash away left parties and going to join hands with Samajwadi Party. No body interested in secularism and they all wants to retain Power only. They have also betrayed DMK Party once and BJP never done that. Karunanidhi must realize this and there is no use of telling communal slogan against BJP.

From the News papers report, The Tamil Nadu state government’s move to launch online Tamil text books to make up for possible delay in distribution of school text books has found an unexpected audience among NRIs. Tamils abroad have started logging on to the site to teach their children their mother tongue, while people from other states have found in it an opportunity to learn Tamil. In the case of Malayalees, the site offers a bit of their mother tongue, which is taught in some of the schools in Tamil Nadu.

The website has posted around 348 textbooks of Classes I to XII and 44 more will be added soon. Three textbooks for students of Class X matriculation stream and nine for Class X Anglo Indian stream are among the many study materials available. “My children were born in Lagos in Nigeria. Getting Tamil teaching material is a bit difficult. So whenever we used to come to Tamil Nadu, we used to ask our kids to read cartoon strips from Tamil magazines. Now, my children find it easier to learn Tamil by logging on to the website,” said Chidambaresan, who left Coimbatore 15 years ago. “Their recitation of ‘Neerarum kadal udutha’, the invocation to Mother Tamil, still sounds funny. But we are happy that they are learning the language fast. It is a good initiative from the government,” he said.

It is not only Tamilians who are benefited by the website, but people of other Indian states living abroad. “I am a computer engineer living abroad and I brought my family along a few months after my kid was born last year.

This website of the Tamil Nadu government was referred to me by my friends and I was surprised to see Malayalam content also in it. Now my wife teaches my son using the website,” said Vinayan, who works in Virginia, USA.

DMK president M Karunanidhi on Saturday [21-6-2008] night said he would go to New Delhi to play a possible mediatory role to resolve differences between the Congress and the Left parties over the Indo-US nuclear deal. “If there is a parting of ways (between the Congress and the Left), it will only result in a victory for the communal forces.

By agreeing to the US Nuclear deal, India has to accept US intervention in every nuclear project in India. The US is compelling India to be a military partner and share the unpleasant consequences of its misadventures. In India's present growing inflation situation there is no necessity to support the N.Deal. Karunanidhi may be telling to agree to the N.Deal for safeguarding his family rule.

During the struggle for Indian freedom, Jallianwala Bagh stands as a milestone in Indians heart and we cannot forget the killings of innocent peoples by British Rulers.

On the March and April 1919, the struggle for the Independence was almost entirely confined to the Punjab and Western India. Most of the rioting in Delhi, Lahore, Amristar and elsewhere was characterized by racial hatred which was instigated by British Government. Without any reason, the government arrested Mahatma Gandhi on his way to Punjab and this provoked a riot in the mill town of Ahmadabad, where Gandhi was well known and loved by all. Gandhi was again released and helped to restore order.

On 15th April martial law was declared in the Punjab in consequence of a deal, which becomes one of the great rallying cries of Indian Independence. Amristar a city of
3, 00,000 inhabitants and the important religious centre of the Sikhs was about 250 miles north-west of Delhi. In Amristar on 10th April two nationalist leaders were arrested and deported. Provoked by this act of British Rulers a large crowd attempted to enter the European Cantonment and being turned away by British Army, they began rioting in city. Two banks were attacked and other Europeans were also attacked by them and railway stations set on fire.

The Military under one General Dyer restored order and all public meetings and assemblies were declared illegal. On April 13th to protest against the atrocities of General Dyer thousands of people gathered in a large enclosed ground known as “Jallianwalla Bagh”. On hearing this General Dyer personally went to the spot with ninety Gurka and Baluchi soldiers and two armoured cars with which he blocked the only exit of the Ground. Then without warning he ordered his men to open fire on the densely packed innocent people, and on his own admission fired 1605 rounds before he withdrew, ordering the armoured cars to remain and prevent anyone from leaving or entering the Bagh. Official figures gave 379 dead and 1200 wounded but really thousands of people were massacred by the shooting of cruel Dyer.

Dyer was removed from his command by British Rulers for his policy of intimidation. But his motives were supported by a large section of the British Press as well as Members of Parliament. A Sum of 26,000 euros was subscribed as a testimonial for this fine example of gallant British Soldier. But it is really a coward action of General Dyer.


On Mar 13, 1940, Udham Singh shot dead Sir Michael O’Dwyer, the DC of Amritsar during the massacre, at the Caxton Hall in London. Udham Singh was present at Jallinwala Bagh on that fateful day. According to him Sir Dwyer was actually responsible for the killings. Udham Singh was later hanged in London.


The affair of the Jallianwala Bagh certainly had a moral effect, particularly upon Gandhi. For him there was now no compromise with the British and he declared the Co-operation in any shape or form with this satanic government is sinful. U.Ve. saminatha Iyer, Muthuramalinga Thevar and several other eminent Tamil scholars worked tirelessly and they never interfered in the belief of any religion.

In the interest of free flow of traffic in Marina Beach, the previous A.I.A.D.M.K. Government removed the Kannagi Statue which was erected in the mid-way of the Marina approach road. Even the then Tamil Nadu Government assured that the removed Statue will be erected in a proper place.Karunanidhi was unable to tolerate this action and created several agitations through his party. After coming to power he immediately reinstalled the Kannagi statue in the same place itself. When such was the situation, how Karunanidhi making his appeal to the several millions of Hindu community, to forget the Ram-sethu issue which is mingled in their heart.

Moreover in his application, the Janata Party leader alleged that Baalu’s family controlled firm — Meenam Fisheries Ltd — having fishing and shipping interest in the Palk Strait and Gulf of Mannar area, would “benefit tremendously from the implementation of the project.” He said this was the reason why the shipping minister was probably pushing for early commencement of the project, which had been stalled on the interim orders of the apex court.”

Now in the interest of several millions of Hindu community people, if Karunanidhi make arrangements to shift the dredging work without disturbing the Ram-Sethu Bridge, he will be definitely appreciated even by millions of followers of Lord Ram. No Hindu is ever standing as hindrance to the Rs. 2,427 crore projects and all of their humble appeal to Karunanidhi is that the Ram-Sethu should not be destroyed and the canal way may be shifted to some other place. Ram-Sethu is a monument and a worshipful place of Hindu Community like Muslims “Kabaa” and Christians Jerusalem.

All Hindu community people with folded hands request Karnanidhi not to destroy the ancient monument of Ram-Sethu with atheist mind or for some other reasons like families benefit.

Our ambition is in his present age of 85years; Karunanidhi must stand as a symbol of well wisher to all the community and get a memorable name by safe guarding the Ram-Sethu Bridge, which is regarded as a part of our country’s history.

The Pakistan Prime Minister’s statement in 1954 about the military alliance with the U.S. not being directed against country was palpably false. So far as the United States and Pakistan were concerned, it was directed against the Soviet Union and China, and in so far as Pakistan alone was concerned, against India.

Ostensibly intended “to strengthen peace and security within the frame work of the Charter of the United Nations,” the pacts and the accompanying arms created highly surcharged nuclei of tension in West Asia and South and South East-Asia. Pakistan subscribed not to a doctrine of peace but to one of hatred, hatred of India, which was root in the two nation’s theory. In this respect Pakistan was completely opposed to modern Islam with its emphasis on peace among man kind and a socialist way of life for its followers. As Ayub khan said, Pakistan had not joined CENTO and SEATO because it was forced to; neither did it join them with its eyes shut.


Pakistan joined them in order to be able to enhance its security. To enhance the security the pacts has shown, not by loyality to its allies, but playing one military camp against another, claiming to belong to one or both or neither as the situation demands, the only common factor of antagonism in its calculation being India.

In early Vedic period of India several family groups are mentioned in Rig-Veda to indicate separate units. They are called as Bharatas, Matsyas, Krivis, Tritsus, Yadus, Purus, Anus and etc.

Rajan was the name for the ruling chief, primarily a leader of war. He was elected by the people. Valour and military leadership was important considerations in electing him. Several verses in Rig-Veda and Athervanaveda describe the keen contest of rival candidates in the elections of Kings. Gradually, Kingship became hereditary. The Royal treasury was filled with gifts from the people, tributes of defeated tribes and the boot of war.


In Vedic period Rajan was not an absolute monarch but a sort of dignified magistrate with only executive duties. Two assemblies, Sabha and Samiti were responsible for the government of the nation. Sabha was an assembly of the distinguished great men of various activities and Samiti was the popular assembly of all Aryas, belonging to the region. Sabhasad, the member of the Sabha was greatly respected. Gramani, the representative of the Grama [Village] was also included in the Assembly.


All the members participated in the councils held by the King to discuss the matters of government and the Rajan was to act according to the decision of the members. Purohita was the learned Vedic Pandits who guided the King and the people in all matters of religious, social customs, morality, law etc. Senani was the leader of the Army.


Some of the tribes in remote villages managed their own affairs without a King. It is explained in Vedic verses that Chiefs or Rajas met together and decided matters in the tribal assembly. The word of Raja was applied to all important persons participating in the deliberations of such assemblies.


The King was in no sense divine but was duly respected. Living in a grand palace, the King conducted his court with dignity. Administration of justice was also are his important duties. But usually the disputes were settled in the village through the arbitrator, Madh-yamsi. Crimes of theft, robbery, murder, etc, were condemned and punished with heavy fines called vairadeya and shatadaya. Failure to repay debts often resulted in slavery.

Subrawardy another Prime Minister of Pakistan was no less unequivocal. Pakistan, he said, would “continue to seek alliances, military and otherwise, as long as there is remote danger from India to the country’s safety and territorial integrity.” Defending the Baghdad Pact, he remarked: “Even if there is a five percent of chance of attack from India, I must be strong enough to see that that chance should be zero chance.”

Obviously, Pakistan objective was to dictate terms of a settlement on Kashmir to India from a position of strength. Speaking in the foreign affairs debate in the Pakistan National Assembly on 26th March 1956, the Foreign Minister of Pakistan said: The most notable achievement of the SEATO is the joint reaffirmation by the members of our stand on Kashmir Another Foreign Minister said at a public meeting in Lahore on 20th October 1956 that “ a powerful neighbouring country which was inimical to Pakistan had in fact forced us to seek friendship elsewhere.”
“That country,” he went on, “has great differences with this country and the two pacts have enable Pakistan to ensure its defence against aggression.” The next day he confirmed that the country he had in mind was India. On another occasion he said: “Pakistan will not agree to commit suicide by getting out of the Baghdad pact which is our defence against India. Time was to show that Western Military aid to Pakistan resulted only in encouraging Pakistan to commit further aggression on India.

These statement were made and more were to be made in subsequent years, in defiance of public assurance given to India by the President of the United States and its secretary of State that U.S. Military aid to Pakistan was not intended to be used against India and that should it be so used the U.S. would come to the aid of India against Pakistan.

The senate foreign relations Sub-committee had to warn Pakistan in 1961 that military assistance “has never been given to Pakistan for defence against possible attack from India.” These assurances were repeated in subsequent years, only to be ignored when the occasion for their fulfillment arose in 1965.

During 1958, Chinese diplomats complained about Pakistan Prime Minister Subrawardy’s anti communist policy. Subsequently China’s official organ, such as the People’s Daily and the Peking Review, criticized Pakistan policies, particularly the existence of American missile and naval bases in Pakistan under the cover of SEATO and CENTO. In 1959, China protested to Pakistan for having shown courtesies to a mission of Muslims from Taiwan which had arrived in Karachi en route to Mecca for the Haj. The Peking Review as a Pakistan writer says, used strong language to castigate Pakistan for receiving the Haj mission and for denouncing the Chinese action in Tibet. The Chinese Government also lodged a further protest in July 1959 with the Pakistan Embassy in Peking.

China did not like President Ayub Khan’s suggestion to India for the joint defence of the Indo-Pakistan subcontinent and asked Pakistan to indicate against whom this joint defence was intended to be organized. Manzur Qadir, the Foreign Minister repeatedly expressed in April 1059 his misgivings and fear about communist expansionism and urged other Asian countries to join collective security arrangements.

Thus China too regarded Pakistan’s military alliances with western countries as directed its security. There was; however a difference in that the Pakistan Prime Minister took the initiative to explain to Premier Chou En-lai in Bandung in 1955 that Pakistan had not joined the military pacts or received the U.S. military aid with any aggressive designs against China. In an effort to pin him down, Premier Chou En-lai said in his speech to the political committee of the Afro-Asian conference in Bandung on 23 April 1955. He told “that although Pakistan was a party to a military treaty, Pakistan was not against China. The Prime Minister of Pakistan further assured that if the U.S. should take aggressive action under the military treaty or if the U.S. launched a global war, Pakistan would not be involved in it. I am grateful to him for this explanation, because though these explanations we achieve a mutual understanding.”

Eight years later, on 10 April 1963, in a statement to the Associated Press of Pakistan, Premier Chou En-lai said that the leaders of Pakistan had assured him in 1954 that Pakistan had joined the Western military alliances [CENTO and SEATO] only to gain political and military ascendancy over India and that “Pakistan had no other motivation in joining the pacts.” This revelation has not been denied by Pakistan authorities.

In 1957 according to the President of Pakistan, the U.S. Military aid amounted to 40percent on the Pakistan Budget. He did not explain whether this was 40percent of the revenue Budget or of revenue and capital together. An extensive programmed of communications including roads, railways and a radar warning network was put through. Existing Air Ports and acrodromes like the one at Khartan, were built. The port of Ormara was developed. The U.S. set up its communication bases near Peshwar and in the northern territories of Kashmir under Pakistan’s unlawful occupation. From the United Kingdom, Pakistan received ships and naval equipment on loan. Five and a half divisions of its army were reorganized and equipped on the American system.l One of the problems on which CENTO powers concenterated was subversion and infiltration, and this would explain the massive scale on which Pakistan was able to organize and deploy infiltration across the cease-fire line into the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir in 1965.


India fought a second war with Pakistan over Kashmir in 1965, little more than a year after Nehru's death. Pakistan's ruler at the time, Field Marshal Ayub Khan, personally planned Operation Grand Slam, which he hoped would totally cut Kashmir off at its narrow southern neck from India's Punjab.. But India's army was four times larger than Pakistan's, and quickly dispelled the popular Pakistani myth that one Muslim soldier was “worth ten Hindus.”

When Pakistan accepted the U.S.military aid, Western policies were directed principally against communist countries. The view that Pakistan’s membership of Western military alliances and acceptance of the U.S.military aid were directed against communist powers is reinforced by the manner in which Pakistan supported Western polices in the United Nations and outside.

In the U.N. General Assembly and the Assembly’s first [Political] and special Political Committees, out of a total of 256 occasions when division was caused between 1952 and 1962, Pakistan voted with Western powers 165 times. A writer devoted to Pakistan’s cause, states that Pakistan had warmth of friendliness for Britain.” This leaning towards the West –going back to Jinnah’s time – was indeed reemphasized in 1950 when Liaquat Alikhan, the Prime Minister of Pakistan went to the extent of evading an invitation to visit Moscow. This policy continued during Khawja Nazimiddin’s Prime Ministership. Between 1954 and 1960, Pakistan followed a policy of “unqualified agreement” with the United States.

When Pakistan and Turkey signed a military aid Agreement, the nucleus for the Baghdad Pact, the Soviet Union lodged another protest. “We do not like the Baghdad Pact at all,” said Khrushchev in Srinagar on 9 December 1955, “the most active participant of which is Pakistan.”

It was the during the visit of President Ayub Khan in Cairo that the Pakistan side refused to include in the joint statement any reference to the Pakistan support for the Palestinian case or the case of Algeria. The joint statement was then broadcast, without making any reference to those two important Arab causes.


The spirit of the foreign policy of Pakistan was not even ideological. It was purely anti-Indian. The reason why Ayub Khan had refused to support the Palestinian issue or the case of Algeria was Nasser’s refusal to agree to any mention of Kashmir in the joint communiqué. In no other case the exposure of Pakistan policy been so complete. Once the ideological skin was peeled off, as in the case, no ground was left for that policy to claim special consideration at the hands of other Muslim countries. Pakistan repudiated its own slogan of Islamic unity which its leaders had been shouting for over a decade in pursuit of anti-Indian objectives. This inner contradiction in their policy was to torrent them time and again in the years to come.

Supreme Court of India after a virtual religious discourse on the sacredness of Ram Sethu for two days and the apprehensions about a deep wound that would be inflicted on 100 crore Hindus if it was dredged, the Supreme Court on Thursday [8-5-2008] implored the government to explore the possibility of an in-depth study of the Sethu by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI).
This appeared to be in consonance with the demands of the petitioners who had said that the government was going ahead with the project without determining through an ASI study whether Ram Sethu — believed to be built by Lord Ram as a causeway to land in Lanka to rescue Sita from the clutches of demon Ravana — could classify as an ancient monument. A three-judge Bench comprising Chief Justice K G Balakrishnan and Justices R V Raveendran, before adjourning hearing of the matter till July 22, asked the government to explore the possibility of an ASI study of Ram Sethu.



The petitioners, who have challenged the validity of the present alignment of the Sethusamudram Project that proposes dredging a channel having a width of 300 m on Rama Sethu to shorten the shipping distance between the western and eastern ports, have another reason to be happy. The court asked senior advocate Fali S Nariman to impress upon the Centre to examine the viability of an alternative alignment. This suggestion came from the Bench after Janata Party president Subramanian Swamy pointed out the fallacies in the decision of the Centre to go ahead with the project ostensibly under pressure from ally DMK. With the court restraining any dredging till further orders, this long adjournment along with the suggestions for an in-depth ASI study and consideration of an alternative alignment would be sure to delay the project, despite the government filing an application in the apex court seeking vacation of the interim stay order. Your wrong desires may put you into trouble. How much of these will satisfy a person is anybody’s guess. Desire becomes an obsession with many people and they are always discontented, though they might have enough means for a normal living.

However there are people, who put limits to their desires. For them enough is enough and they apply their further energy in improving the quality of life. The scope for such quality oriented pursuits is limitless and keeps the mind in a happy, buoyant mood. Being satisfied with what they have, are free to pursue their constructive activities. They are enthusiastic in their actions without expectations of any material award. When the mind is thus abundantly provided from within every day, living is indeed a continual feast.

You don’t react, whether or not the results are according to your expectations, because those results are gift from the God. Try to control your desires by reading good books and hearing lectures from learned people. Three innocent young people killed in Madurai “Dinakaran” Tamil Daily News paper office on 9-5-2007, when protesters threw petrol bombs at the office building. We have already published the matter during 2007 in our blog with pictures.
This is due to supporters of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) party in Tamil Nadu were protesting against the publication of an opinion poll that did not favor their leader MK Azhagiri, son of M.Karunanidhi, Tamilnadu Chief Minister.



The protestors set fire to the office of the Tamil daily Dinakaran in the temple town of Madurai, some 350 km south of Tamil Nadu state capital Chennai. In the fire accident, Two computer operators and a peon died of suffocation, The poll showed that only 2 percent of voters in Tamil Nadu wanted Azhagiri to succeed his father, state Chief Minister M Karunanidhi, as leader of the DMK party. Azhagiri is the Karunanidhi's eldest son. The poll indicated that 70 percent of voters wanted MK Stalin, Karunanidhi's younger son to succeed their father. Another 2 percent wanted Kanimozhi, Katrunanidhi's daughter to succeed him. The violence was due to a direct result of the succession struggle within the DMK party.




Tamil Nadu State Secretary Indian Communist [M&L] Thiru Pandian explained to ‘Junior Vikatan” reporter, “during the last one year the CBI has not taken any initiative in this case. The people who are all arrested are all came in bail.”

During 1965 Pakistan aggression first in Kutch and then to Kashmir were significant. Bhutto had talks with Premier Chou-En-lai on 2nd April in Karachi which he said were a follow up of the talks he had with Chen Yi in March. Cho-En_lai again stopped over in Karachi for two hours on 9 june 1965. By this time preparations were fully under way for aggression on a much more ambitious scale in Kashmir, a warning of which was by no less a person than President Ayub khan himself. Addressing a meeting of the Pakistan Muslim league Council in Islamabad in July 1965, President Ayub Khan asked the nation “to become prepared to face the critical situation ahead and render all sacrifices for national honour”. He alleged that India believed in military solutions of various Indo-Pakistan disputes and said “Pakistan will be facing a difficult situation and the nation should be fully prepared to face it.

This was three weeks before Pakistan attempted to seize Kashmir by massive armed infiltration, and about seven weeks before its enormous military machine, built up by the U.S.A. was set in motion against India. Pakistan’s two aggressions in 1965 had China’s fullest support. In the second case China lent active help on the ground to Pakistan by issuing a ultimatum to India, thereby effectively tying down the latter’s forces in the eastern sector Of the Himalayas.

The image of Pakistan as a powerful military nation, equipped with efficient arms by its western allies, was shattered.

In our Indian tradition, all the Four Vedas are beginningless and the origin of them is totally forgotten. Further taking into consideration, the dynasty of the Kings mentioned in the puranas, the date of the Rig Vedic civilization goes back to 3000B.C.

Their families are still shedding tears and remembering the searching of the bodies of their beloved father, son and other friends in the midnight at Sriperumbudur ground and the Hospital’s.

And I can’t stand for more than half-an-hour.” “We have all shed blood for Rajiv Gandhi,” he says. “Why ask Nalini what happened? Ask us. We saw it all, we’ve felt it all. Priyanka should ask us. No one bothers about us,” says the man who spent 18 years as a Congress functionary.

Point-by-point, Justice Wadhwa rejected the arguments. “It is not that Nalini did not understand the nature of the crime and her participation. She was a willing party to the crime. We have to see both the crime and the criminal,” he said. “Nalini, in her association with Murugan and others, developed great hatred towards Rajiv Gandhi and wanted revenge. Merely because Nalini is a woman and a mother of the child, who was born while she was in custody, cannot be the ground not to award the extreme penalty to her,” Justice Wadhwa said. “When we think of the crime, we find that along with Rajiv Gandhi 15 others, including personal security officer to Gandhi P K Gupta and Kokilavani, also lost their lives. What about their families, one may ask,” was the poser from Justice Wadhwa to Nalini’s counsel. Justice Quadri, who held the decisive card after Justice Thomas and Justice Wadhwa were divided over award of death sentence to Nalini, appeared torn between emotion and the duty of a judge. “Indeed the dilemma whether sentence of death should be pronounced upon a woman has been troubling my mind for a considerable time. Surely in our culture, a woman has to be treated with beneficence and kindness,” he confessed. “But then in this case the person Dhanu who opted to become a human bomb was a woman. Subha, who gave moral support to sacrifice her life on the anvil of some ideology and to end up annihilating other lives, was also a woman,” he said clarifying the issue factually. “It was not the case that Nalini was caught up in a sudden situation and became a mute comrade — the mind not towing the body. It was indeed the other way round. The part played by Nalini is a candid participation in the crime of conspiracy to assassinate Rajiv Gandhi who was himself a young popular leader so much loved and respected by his fellow citizens and had been PM of India,” Justice Quadri said. “Nalini, in spite of being an Indian citizen, joined the gang of conspirators and engaged herself in pursuit of common intention to commit crime only because she was infatuated by the love and affection developed for Murugan, and thus played her part in execution of the conspiracy which resulted in the assassination of Rajiv Gandhi and death of many police officers and innocent citizens including a small girl,” he said and agreed with Justice Wadhwa that she be awarded death penalty as there was no room for leniency, kindness and beneficence for Nalini in this case.

Any person who was in the conspiracy of Killing Rajiv Gandhi should not be left out. It is the ambition of all people of India.
