Is it true, former DMK. Minister Thaa.Ki. Was murdered by the supporters of Alagiri?

During MAY 20-2003 at Madurai, In a shocking incident, senior DMK leader and former minister T. Krittinan (66) was hacked to death by motorcycle-borne assailants near his residence in KK Nagar, Madurai, around 6 am. He is survived by his wife, son and daughter.
The entire DMK rank had assembled at the GRH mortuary as early as 7 am. Many of them were in an inebriated mood and accused Karunanidhi’s Madurai-based son M.K. Azhagiri and his men of committing the murder.
Now Junior Vikatan, Tamil weekly in its issue dated 31-7-2011 stated that a letter, which was said to be written by Gopi [Executive committee Member DMK] in connection with Thaa.Ki. Murder was now in the hands of Madurai Police..
But whether the letter is genuine is yet to be proved.
